INTERNATIONAL PEACE BUILDING

International conflict is an arena in radical need of concrete tools that can bring warring factions together in genuine dialogue. Aikido offers disputing parties a visual metaphor for generating harmonious relationship in the face of attack and a set of physical tools for keeping cool in the midst of heated discourse.
The conflict between Greek and Turkish Cypriots has lasted for decades. After practicing slow motion Aikido together at a joint conference on conflict resolution, policy leaders from both sides acknowledged Quantum Edge for bringing a powerful, unforgettable peace building metaphor to the island.
