NAVIGATING THE EMERGING UNKNOWN

OPEN INQUIRY

THE INSTITUTE OF NOT KNOWING

The mind that created the problems of today
is not the mind that will solve them.”
– Albert Einstein

The doorway to innovation is found in the willingness to let go
of what we know to open the mind to new possibilities. Our unique
approach to embodied inquiry as a way of discourse is to develop
a deep, sensory presence during collaborations. This emphasis
on present awareness empowers individuals and groups to think,
communicate, and act both intuitively and decisively
when facing complex problems.

In Aikido we use change as a source of power,
like a sailor uses shifting winds.

Convening the Enquiry

A leading center for executive development gathered its clients
from around the world to inquire into the dynamics of energetic field
awareness in leading corporate change. Using slow motion Aikido
exercises as a fun way to embody energy principles in action, we
helped to physically ground this highly intellectual endeavor
and ensure that the development of concrete business
applications arose from the group inquiry.

Annual Gatherings

Each year for the last several years we’ve called together a
group of our fellow explorers to delve deeply into integrative
consciousness and the investigation of the unknown. We gather for
open dialogue and experiment experientially with embodied
energetics as a way of making inquiry into the generative
realm of not knowing
